The UC Merced Opportunities Fellowship Program (OFP) provides scholars an opportunity to participate in meaningful experiential learning projects across campus departments that help foster their academic, personal, and professional growth.
These experiential learning projects are only open to current UC Merced scholars. Funding will be awarded through the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships as a student stipend and will be added to student financial aid awards.
What to expect: Engage in a experiental learning project that will create new knowledge and build skills.
Requirements: Have sufficient financial need to receive fellowship. Commit 8-10 hours a week to the experiental learning project. Participate in a project showcase at the end of fellowship. Attend a program meet & greet with staff and other OFP fellows.
