The center supports students in finding research and internship opportunities and building lifelong skills needed for advancement and leadership in STEM careers.

Undergraduate Research Opportunities Center (UROC)

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Center (UROC) encourages and supports first-generation and underrepresented students to get involved in undergraduate research! They offer many programs which most are open for undocumented students. Students can conduct research during the summer through the Summer Undergraduate Research Institute. Students can also conduct research throughout the academic year through different programs. They sponsor several Research and Internship opportunities for UROC scholars. Each program is aimed to help guide the student toward their academic and career goals by providing relevant training and leadership development opportunities.
