Services for Undocumented Students is committed to advancing the academic, personal, and professional success of undocumented students at UC Merced through a holistic, student-centered approach.
Our efforts are grounded in a commitment to reducing systemic barriers to educational attainment while empowering students to thrive and succeed throughout their academic journey and beyond.
We achieve this by providing individualized guidance, immigration legal services, financial aid support, and intentional programming that responds to students’ evolving needs. Through strong campus and community partnerships, we work to foster access, cultivate a sense of belonging, and support students’ overall development.
- Resilience -
We build resilience by uplifting, celebrating, and encouraging ownership of our students’ stories and experiences.
- Community -
We build a community of scholars through our programs because it is an essential component to academic, professional, and personal success.
- Support -
We build a supportive environment through a holistic and individualized approach focusing on our students’ potential and not their perceived limits.
Our center is located in the Kolligian Library (Room 127). This space is called "The Monarch Center". We are open Monday–Friday from 9AM–5PM.
