Mission Statement

Services for Undocumented Students and Special Populations is committed to empowering undocumented students to achieve their academic and personal pursuits, and actively contribute to the world.

To support a safe and inclusive campus culture that fosters and nurtures intellectual, societal and experiential growth. Provide individualized service for each student focused on academic assistance, financial aid resources, legal assistance, and utilization of a collaborative campus and community referral network. Advocate for campus practices that treat all undocumented students with respect and dignity.

In partnership with university and community partners, the Office of Undocumented Students and Special Populations will promote the advancement and accessibility of undocumented students into higher education.

Since the Presidential election of November 8, 2016, undocumented students have expressed a variety questions pertaining to their and their family's status, DACA, Advance Parole, and more. The UC Undocumented Legal Services Center has provided a list (see attachment) of possible FAQs to assist students. This information does not constitute as legal advice. Each individual case is different and will vary from situation to situation. If you have any questions, please contact UCULSC attorney David Gomez at David.ucimm@law.ucdavis.edu
