The Office for Services for Undocumented Students annually provides the Knowledge Empowers You (KEY) Program for all new incoming undocumented scholars and their families. The Program is intended to assist scholars and their families through the transition to UC Merced. In addition, the program also provides an introduction to the array of programs and services available through the Office for Services for Undocumented Students to support undocumented scholars during their tenure at the University.
Each year the KEY program addresses topics specific to undocumented scholars and their families; e.g.,
- Understanding Your Financial Aid,
- Know Your Rights,
- Life after College as An Undocumented Scholar,
- Campus Involvement,
- Campus Resources,
- Research Opportunities for Undocumented Scholars, etc.
There is no fee for the KEY Program.
